In the last 12 months, a sold-out worldwide tour, international sales of her latest album, and lucrative endorsement deals put Madonna's earnings at $110 million, according to Forbes.com. Nowhere near the top 10 list? Britney Spears.

In second place is Celine Dion, who earned an estimated $100 million from June 2008 to June 2009. Beyonce Knowles came in third, earning $87 million. She dropped a double album, starred in two films, and embarked on what is expected to be, at minimum, a 110-date international tour.

The top 10 musicians on the list earned a combined $719 million, up from $500 million during the same period a year ago. Higher concert prices led to the increase.
