Megan FoxProduction on Megan Fox's new movie Jonah Hex was halted last week after a fire broke out on the set.

The Transformers: Rise of the Fallen beauty has been filming the comic book adaptation alongside Josh Brolin, in New Orleans, Louisiana, but production came to a standstill after a movie explosion set fire to the surrounding buildings and spread to neighboring grassland.

The film crew reportedly continued shooting to capture the authentic blaze on camera, before the set was evacuated.

A source tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "They were shooting in the St. Francisville area, and some explosion set everything around it on fire, but they kept filming for 60 minutes to catch the authenticity. I don't think anyone was hurt but for some historic buildings and land."

The movie reportedly wrapped on schedule at the end of last week.
