Actress Rachel Griffiths has welcomed her third child with husband Andrew Taylor.

The Australian star gave birth to a baby girl last week and is ecstatic with the new addition to her brood. Griffiths and Taylor are already parents to five-year-old son, Banjo Patrick, and Adelaide Rose, three.

However, the news might not be welcomed by Griffiths pals - who insist the star is a much nicer person when she's pregnant.

She explained before the birth, "Apparently I'm really nice pregnant. The wardrobe department begged me never to have this baby. They said, 'We love you pregnant; you're so much nicer.' Maybe I'm less hormonal."
