Jennifer Hudson's fiancé has made a successful debut in his new career as a professional wrestler.

David Otunga claimed victory in a fight with Troy Jackman in his debut bout in the Florida Championship Wrestling organization, a developmental league for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

According to reports, Otunga, fighting under the name Dawson Alexander, finished off Jackson with his trademark move, The Verdict - a reference to his time at Harvard Law School.

Hudson is reportedly pregnant with the wrestler's child - the couple's first.
