Nick Jonas has rekindled his romance with teen superstar Miley Cyrus, his sibling Joe Jonas has apparently confirmed.

Hannah Montana star Cyrus turned to ex-boyfriend Nick following her split from model Justin Gaston earlier this month , and recent photos of the teenage sweethearts frolicking on a jet ski off the coast of Tybee Island, near Savannah, Georgia sparked fresh gossip they had reunited.

The 16-year-old singer/actress, who is filming new movie "The Last Song in Savannah," admitted last week she had "reconnected" with Nick, but insisted they were just "best friends" who were "hanging out".

However, Nick's older brother Joe appears to have let slip the couple's happy news after being quizzed by talkshow host Larry King about their romances on Thursday.

When asked if Joe's girlfriend, actress Camilla Belle, was as famous as Nick's love interest, he replied, "I don't think anyone's as famous as Miley Cyrus."

But Nick was quick to intervene and put a stop to the apparent confirmation, saying, "It's a part of our lives we try to keep private."

Eldest Jonas Brother Kevin added, "It's odd when people all around the world are obsessed with a 16 year old's love life."

Cyrus and Nick Jonas originally dated for two years before splitting in 2007.
