Miley Cyrus' Big Sister Brandi Cyrus Wants To Be A Star

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has a new chart rival to contend with - her older sister Brandi has joined a pop group.

The Cyrus family already boasts two celebrities - the Hannah Montana star and country singer father Billy Ray .

However, now 22-year-old Brandi Cyrus, who had previously played guitar as back-up for Miley, is ready to step into the limelight with her band Frank and Derol, alongside lead vocalist Codi Caraco and Megan Park, who stars in TV's The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Park says of Cyrus' addition to their band, "We really liked what she contributed so we started working with her a lot more and it all naturally fell into place."

And the trio has been given a big boost in their bid for stardom, after opening for Billy Ray Cyrus at his concert in Los Angeles' House of Blues on Sunday.
