Harrison Ford Is The Highest Paid Actor

Harrison Ford has been named the highest earning actor in Hollywood - after he took home a massive $64.95 million in the last 12 months.

The veteran star returned to his role as the famed archaeologist in last year's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which went on to gross more than $750 million worldwide and earned Ford a bountiful pay check.

The figures, from Forbes magazine, show Ford brought home the staggering sum between June 2008 and 2009.

Second in the list was funnyman Adam Sandler, who earned $54.9 million thanks to the success of his two films, Bedtime Stories and You Don't Mess With the Zohan.

Will Smith came in third with $45 million, while the top five is rounded out by Eddie Murphy and Nicolas Cage who both earned $39.9 million.
