Vida Guerra Sued For $35,000
The Cuban-born beauty is accused of owing Los Angeles-based property firm SBL, LLC almost $30,000 after failing to hand over cash for the apartment she rented back in November 2008.
Guerra is alleged to have signed a one-year lease - costing $3,250 a month - for the L.A. home, but moved out after three months and refused to pay for the remainder of the contract.
Landlords were further angered after discovering damage to the apartment - according to court papers filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Guerra left "stains on the carpets and holes in the walls."
SBL bosses are seeking $35,000 in compensation, reports TMZ.com.
