Gwen Stefani: 'I'm Struggling To Write Songs'
Stefani has reunited with her band No Doubt for a tour following a five-year hiatus during which she released two platinum pop albums as a solo artist. The concert set-lists will only feature the No Doubt's greatest hits - after frontwoman Stefani struggled to write any new material for the group to perform on their trek.
The singer is hoping the band's live shows will provide fresh inspiration - but she admits her songwriting career may be coming to an end.
She tells Elle magazine, "I want so badly to write a record. I want to make every other songwriter jealous. But that's not happening right now. I might never be able to write another song."
However, the 39 year old admits her music is no longer the main focus of her life since becoming a mom to Kingston and Zuma - her sons with rocker Gavin Rossdale.
She adds: "I always referred to No Doubt as a marriage because that's what it's like to be together for so long and to go through what we've been through. I can't really have that relationship with them anymore. My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now."
