Actress Lori Petty has been hit with three misdemeanour charges following her arrest for driving under the influence last weekend.

The Tank Girl star was arrested in Venice, California after she allegedly hit a skateboarder with her car.

Cops breath-tested Petty and found she was over the legal limit.

On Friday, she was charged with DUI with injury, DUI with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher with injuries and driving without insurance.

If convicted, Petty faces up to a year in county jail. She's due back in court on June 25.
