Even with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra ready to heat up the big screen this summer, Hasbro is not about to rest on its laurels: the toy company announced a Stretch Armstrong film, slated for a 2011 release.

"'Stretch Armstrong' couldn’t be in more capable hands than Imagine and Hasbro," Chairman of Universal Pictures Marc Shmuger said in a press release. "We're so excited to bring this iconic property to audiences around the world in April of 2011."

"When Hasbro signed the multi-year strategic partnership with Universal, it was one more powerful example of our commitment to re-imagine, re-invent and re-ignite our incredible brands beyond traditional toys and games," said Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s President and CEO.

Steve Oedekerk (Bruce Almighty) is the flick's scribe, with Brian Grazer set to produce.

And that's not even the beginning of Hasbro's "toy movie" plans, if you believe the reports. Ridley Scott (Gladiator) is attached to a "Monopoly" project; Kevin Lima (Enchanted) is set to direct "Candy Land" with a script by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder); Gore Verbinski will try to top the last Clue movie with one of his own; and "Battleship" will be directed by Peter Berg (Hancock).

Last, but not least, Michael Bay will produce "Ouija." The Ouija board tells us this will lead to one thing:

E-X-P-L-O-S-I-O-N-S.
