Victoria Gotti Saves Mansion With Federal Deal
The daughter of late mafia don John Gotti featured her $4.2 million mansion in Long Island on her 2004/2005 show Growing Up Gotti. She faced losing the huge property last month - but has now reached an agreement with federal agents to settle two years' worth of loan payments totaling $650,000.
Gotti accused her ex-husband Carmine Agnello of failing to honor the financial terms of their 2003 divorce settlement and taking out a mortgage on the home without her knowledge.
The deal with the U.S. attorney's office means Gotti will be given the chance to buy 11 commercial properties once owned by Agnello, now under his mother Marie's name, so she can renovate them and sell them on - with the profit going to pay off her debt.
The agreement was finalized in Brooklyn Federal Court on Wednesday, but Gotti was not present for the hearing, reports the New York Daily News.
