Jonathan Waud is one of the finalists on BRAVO’s Make Me A Supermodel season 2, and the finale airs tonight at 10/9c.

A dedicated family man, Jonathan endures a hectic schedule, balancing work while still making quality time to share with his wife and 21-month-old son. He has lived in Los Angeles for three years, but was born and raised in Southampton, England. A graduate of the University of the West of England in Bristol, Jonathan earned a degree in French and International Business and went on to open his own construction company.

We don't know who wins "Make Me A Supermodel" tonight, but after talking to Jonathan, our fingers are crossed that he takes home the $100,000!


Starpulse: What made you interested in being a part of "Make Me a Supermodel?"

Jonathan Waud: I was interested in getting a closer view of the industry. I wanted to learn more and become a better model. It also seemed like a great opportunity to get exposure for the future.

In one of the episodes, you posed nude. Are you comfortable with nudity in photo shoots?

Absolutely! It’s not even an issue for me. I grew up in England so the taboo of being nude really was never there. The human body is beautiful, there are classy ways to display nudity for art or for selling a product and I think it’s wonderful.

What are the best and worst things about modeling?

The best part? I love the travel, I love meeting the different people, photographers, designers… other models. Two of my best mates out here are models that I met at a job. There is so much talent in this industry. I'd have to say the worst part is being away from my family and the negative stereotypes that can be associated with being a model.

How do you keep in shape?

I work hard every day with both modeling and my construction business. If I'm working on a jobsite, it’s always running around and heavy lifting. When I can, I ride my bike and go to the gym. I do abs classes and work my arms. I’m a bit active, I must admit.

How does your family feel about all the attention you're getting from the show?

My family and friends have been so supportive and happy for me. It was really hard for me to be away from them while I was doing the show, but it was also really difficult for my wife for me to be gone. We watch the show together now, with our friends, and everyone has been so incredibly positive. It’s been a great experience.

You've done a lot in your 27 years, including getting an International Business degree, owning a construction company, and now modeling. What do you want to do next?

Continue modeling, travelling… and hopefully have my own show one day.

Favorite musical artist? I listen to so many types! I do favour beachy tunes like 311 and Everclear. I also love Jack Johnson.
What are you reading? Twilight
What's your worst habit? I'm a workaholic. Oh and now Twitter, if you can call that a habit!
What do you find sexy about a woman? I find everything about my wife sexy
