LeBron James Has Surgery To Remove Tumor
The Cleveland Cavaliers star, who was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player for the 2008-2009 season, went under the knife to rid his right jaw of the tumor in a five-hour operation on Tuesday.
James, 24, has been suffering from the condition for a few months, according to a spokesperson for his team, but he is now recovering in an Ohio hospital.
The rep adds, "(Doctors are) pleased with the outcome of the procedure, and at this time, are confident that no further treatment will be needed as LeBron is expected to make a full and complete recovery."
