New Dave Matthews Band Album Streaming Now; Out June 2

Dave Matthews BandDave Matthews Band will release Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, the highly anticipated album following the death of band member Leroi Moore, on June 2. The album, a tribute to Moore, will be the band's first studio album in 4 years and will include the newly released single "Funny the Way It Is". Rolling Stone's four star review states that Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King producer Rob Cavallo, "has brought some of the classic-rock edge of his hit records with Green Day and My Chemical Romance to Matthews arena-size spin on early-Seventies Traffic." Fuse Celebrates The Release Of DMB’s "Big Whiskey And The GrooGrux King" With A Week Of Programming

Fuse announced that it will kick off a week of jam-packed music programming from Dave Matthews Band to celebrate the release of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. Beginning the 7-day programming extravaganza on Saturday, May 30, fans can tune-in to watch “Dave Matthews Band: Weekend on the Rocks,” “Dave Matthews Band: The Central Park Concert” and Fuse originals “Fuse Presents Dave Matthews Band: Live from the Beacon Theatre” and “Dave Matthews Band: The Road to Big Whiskey.”

“Fuse is thrilled to dedicate 7-days of programming to Dave Matthews Band as they prepare to unveil their newest album,” said David Weier, vice president, music programming and talent relations, Fuse. “Fuse continues to provide musicians with a megaphone to reach their audience, and viewers with unprecedented access to their favorite acts across all platforms. This 4-part Fuse original documentary introduces fans to the personal side of Dave Matthews Band. Airing Tuesday through Friday at 8pm ET in 30 minute blocks, “Dave Matthews Band: The Road To Big Whiskey” captures the band as they talk about their career, including the significance of performing at Madison Square Garden, the making of their eighth studio album, the hardships of losing a band member, and much more.
