'Hannah Montana' Star Mitchel Musso To Release Debut Album June 2
Mitchel's self-titled debut album is a pop/rock collection of emotional songs that instantly connect with his generation. Along with the universal topic - girls! ("Hey" & "Odd Man Out") the songs also tackle growing up, learning about life, fitting in ("The In Crowd") and dealing with fame ("Welcome to Hollywood"). Overall, the album is a heart-on-the sleeve declaration about life at this age.
Musso worked with some of the music industry's top producers and songwriters including Rolling Stone's Hot List Producers of the Year (2008) S*A*M & SLUGGO (Metro Station, Gym Class Heroes), Curt Schneider (Five For Fighting), Max Martin (Katy Perry, Carolina Liar), and Matthew Wilder (No Doubt). Along with 3 songs co-written by Musso, the album also includes a collaboration with his brother Mason, from Metro Station. Mason lends his vocals to the track "Shout It," a nod to Metro Station's double-platinum single, "Shake It."
