Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue is planning to marry Spanish model Andres Velencoso after he reportedly proposed in secret.

The couple has been inseparable since meeting at a party in Paris, France last year.

And sources in Minogue's native Australia insist she is about to announce their engagement.

Minogue gushed about the relationship at the Cannes Film Festival in France, telling reporters, "I'm happier with him than I have ever been before, you never know he could be the one.

"He is great, who knows what the future holds but hopefully things will work out."
