R&B singer Akon is set to become a father after impregnating a Ugandan woman during his recent tour of the country, according to reports.

The Lonely hit-maker, real name Aliaune Thiam, is alleged to have enjoyed an intimate relationship with Susan Owori, the younger sister of fashion designer Sylvie Owori, earlier this year after a visit to the African nation. Local media reports claim Owori has named Akon as the father of her unborn child.

The Senegal-born star's representative had yet to return requests for a comment as WENN went to press.

Akon is already dad to five children with three different women.
