Denise Richards has become the latest victim of the global economic crisis - she's been forced to slash $400,000 off the asking price of her California mansion.

The star's Hidden Hills home has been on the market for almost a year after it was first advertised at $4,250,000.

Richards dropped the asking price to $3,999,999 and has now cut it by a further $200,000 to $3.8 million in a bid to attract potential buyers, according to RadarOnline.com.
