The man accused of burglarizing Kelly Monaco's Las Vegas hotel suite while she slept is to stand trial.

The former General Hospital actress fell victim to a terrifying burglary last month while she was in Sin City performing in saucy revue Peepshow alongside ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown.

The actress awoke during the night to hear an intruder break into her apartment at the Planet Hollywood resort and hid under the bed until the ordeal was over. She emerged to find the suite had been burgled.

And on Tuesday, a Las Vegas judge determined there is enough evidence against suspect Merrill Wetter for the case to go to trial. Wetter was arrested just days after the break-in and initially pleaded not guilty to charges of burglary, home invasion and trespassing.

He is due to be arraigned on May 20th.
