Lily Allen has moved quickly to dismiss a report she has once again waged a war of words with Cheryl Cole, insisting she's never even met the pop star.

The Smile singer was reported to have branded the Girls Aloud stunner "stupid" and "superficial" in a recent interview with French magazine SoFoot.

She was even said to blasted superstar couple David and Victoria Beckham as "sickening", branding the Spice Girl a "monster".

But Allen, who famously fell out with Cole in 2007, is eager to maintain peace with her fellow celebrities.

She writes on her Twitter.com page, "And no I didn't say that stuff. I've never met Cheryl, or her husband, nor David Beckham. Please don't believe that rubbish."
