Ben Stiller is returning to stalled comedy Used Guys, three years after plans for the movie were shelved.

The futuristic film, about a pair of obsolete clones, was originally set to pair Stiller with Jim Carrey in 2006, but spiraling costs and the stars' conflicting schedules forced producers to scrap the project.

However, the Zoolander star is now in talks to breathe life into the movie, according to Empireonline.com.

Reese Witherspoon has also been linked to the picture, which is being reworked as a romantic comedy.
