Uma Thurman has blasted reports she secretly wed fiance Arpad Busson at the weekend. The couple - engaged since last year - was reported to have eloped to the Bahamas to exchange vows in a private ceremony on the island of Eleuthera on Saturday.

But Stephen Huvane, a representative for the Kill Bill actress, has dismissed the story, telling E! Online, "Uma did not get married."

It is the second time Thurman has been forced to deny rumors of a secret wedding, with internet gossips speculating the pair tied the knot in New York in July just a month after the Swiss financier proposed to the star.

When the couple eventually wed, it will be Thurman's third trip down the aisle - she previously divorced actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke. Busson has previously dated supermodel Elle Macpherson.
