Rupert Everett has vehemently denied accusations he has undergone cosmetic surgery - following a string of internet rumors suggesting he had a facelift.

A picture of the actor looking noticeably fresh-faced and wrinkle-free surfaced online earlier this week following the star's recent appearance on Rachael Ray's TV show.

The image has fueled speculation that Everett, 49, has resorted to drastic measures in a bid to gain a more youthful appearance.

But a spokesman for the star is adamant he has not undergone any cosmetic procedures.

The rep tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, "Why would Rupert need any surgery? He's a beautiful man. Any speculation is completely laughable. He hasn't had anything done and he doesn't need it."
