Joan Collins Slams Botox
The 75-year-old actress is baffled as to why her Hollywood peers often pay to undergo the cosmetic treatment, insisting she doesn't like the frozen facial expressions it creates. And she maintains it is dangerous to use Botox without fully researching its side effects.
She tells Britain's OK! Magazine, "I think Botox is poison. I don't believe in it. We haven't found out the long-term effects of what putting botulism in our faces can do. And I don't like that look."
And the veteran star believes it is possible to hold back the years without resorting to drastic treatment.
She adds, "I think I look pretty good and a lot of it is down to my skincare regime, staying out of the sun, having a very positive attitude to life and not putting on weight."
