Bruce Springsteen & Patti ScialfaBruce Springsteen has been named in a New Jersey couple's divorce papers amid allegations he has been cheating on his wife of 18 years. The "Born to Run" singer, who is married to E Street Band guitarist Patti Scialfa, is mentioned in court documents filed by businessman Arthur J. Kelly. He is seeking legal separation from Ann C. Kelly after 17 years of marriage.

In a complaint filed in Monmouth County Superior Court on March 27, Mr. Kelly claims his wife has "committed adultery with one Bruce Springsteen... at various times and places too numerous to mention".

Star magazine, which has obtained the papers, reports the Kellys live in West Long Branch, a town just north of The Boss' Asbury Park residence - and a source tells the publication the pair has allegedly been linked romantically for months.

Mr. Kelly's attorney, Edward Fradkin, has confirmed Springsteen's link to the divorce filing, insisting, "The papers speak for themselves."

Springsteen married his second wife in 1991, just three years after he divorced Julianne Phillips, amid rumours he had embarked on an affair with back-up singer Scialfa. The couple has three children together.
