Samuel L. JacksonVeteran actor Samuel L. Jackson has embraced turning 60 years old - because he can now be a grumpy old man on film sets.

The Pulp Fiction star has showed little sign of slowing down his movie career since hitting the landmark age in December. But his committed work ethic often leaves him disappointed with younger colleagues who refuse to toil as hard as he does.

Jackson says, "See, I have this unreasonable expectation that everyone is going to be as prepared as I am when I show up for work. I'm becoming more unreasonable as I grow older."

And he insists it is inexperienced filmmakers who annoy him most, adding: "Most times the actors know what they've got to do; it's young directors from the video world who drive me crazy. I know the shots will probably be used as DVD extras. But when I say this, the young guys stare at me like I'm being evil."
