Run DMCMetallica, Run-DMC, Jeff Beck and Bobby Womack entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday at an emotional ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio.

Red Hot Chili Peppers rocker Flea inducted headliners Metallica; who were joined onstage by former guitarist Jason Newsted, and Ray Burton, the father of Cliff Burton, the band's former bassist, who died in a tourbus crash in 1986.

Eminem inducted Run-DMC, who also took the opportunity to mourn former bandmate Jam Master Jay who was murdered in 2002.

Ronnie Wood introduced Womack and then joined the soul star onstage for a duet.

Led Zeppelin rocker Jimmy Page added extra sparkle to the star-studded event by jamming with his former Yardbirds bandmate Jeff Beck, after inducting him into the Hall. It's Beck's second induction, after the Yardbirds were sworn in back in 1992.

Other artists inducted on Saturday include Little Anthony & the Imperials, Wanda Jackson and 'sidemen' Bill Black, DJ Fontana and Spooner Oldham.
