Courtney LoveSinger Courtney Love is reportedly seething after a removal man mistook one of her prized works of art as junk and threw it out.

The untitled $11,800 piece, which depicts a dead baby bird in a matchbox, was displayed on a plinth in the corner of the star's bedroom in her Los Angeles home. During Love's move to a new house, the pedestal was packed up, while the chicklet, created by artist Polly Morgan, was disposed of by removal men. And Love is said to be furious her beloved piece has been lost.

A source tells Britain's Mail On Sunday, "Courtney is beside herself. She's been living in a hotel and entrusted her personal assistant to supervise her move from a rented house in Malibu to a big place up in the Hollywood Hills. Courtney has a ton of stuff, everything from a huge vintage clothing collection to a massive doll's house collection. She also has art everywhere, a lot of it modern."

"She's blazing mad and throwing a complete hissy fit because one of the removal men mistook her Polly Morgan for rubbish and threw it out with the trash."
