George HarrisonFormer Beatle George Harrison is to be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Harrison's star will be unveiled on April 13 on 1750 Vine Street, next to former bandmate John Lennon's star, and right in front of the Capitol Records building - the Hollywood home of the Beatles.

Harrison's widow Olivia and son Dhani are expected to attend the ceremony on behalf of the guitarist, who died of cancer in 2001.

The event is timed to coincide with Martin Scorsese's forthcoming documentary about the star, and Capitol's release of previously unheard Harrison material.
