Pop star Jesse McCartney once gobbled down monkey brains during a trip to the Far East.

The singer/songwriter was in Asia on tour when a guide insisted he tried a local delicacy - and much to his surprise, it wasn't bad.

McCartney says, "It was alright. It was kinda strange, but once you get past the idea of it, it wasn't that bad. It was a little chewy and a little bland. It could have been seasoned a little bit more to tell you the truth."
