Taylor SwiftCountry singing star Taylor Swift has no regrets about going public over her split from Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas.

Jonas broke the teenager's heart last year after he ended their romance in a 25-second phone call, causing Swift to write about her heartache in the song Forever and Always.

And Swift is happy she didn't keep quiet about the break-up - insisting she will continue to pen personal tunes.

She tells Seventeen magazine, "Writing songs about people is the only way I know how to do things. I mean, I can't wish I hadn't written a song about someone, because if I hadn't, that song wouldn't exist. I just don't find any joy in writing about things I haven't been through.

"Right now, my favorite thing to write about is love. And break-ups. And boys. And feelings."
