Lil' Kim's tiring training routine for the reality show Dancing With The Stars is ruining her plans to record a new album.

The hip-hop star hoped to lay down tracks for the follow-up to her 2005 CD The Naked Truth during her time off in between shooting and rehearsing for the TV contest in Los Angeles. But her dancing schedule is so grueling; she has little time left over to hit the studio.

Kim tells Hip Hop Weekly, "I rehearse everyday for about six to eight hours a day. It's definitely a lot of hard, grueling work. I really don't have much down time. When I'm not rehearsing I try to get in the studio and work on new music for my album."
