Josh Groban: 'I'm Not Dating Perry'

Josh Groban has dismissed rumors he's dating pop sensation Katy Perry - insisting the pair are just friends.

A host of websites reported earlier this week that the two musicians had become an item, with Perry's celebrity blogger pal Perez Hilton insisting the pair were trying to keep the romance under wraps. But Groban's representative Luke Burland has shot down the relationship rumors.

He tells People.com, "Josh and Katy are very close friends and hang out, but they are not a couple."

Perry split from Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy earlier this year. Groban has previously dated actress January Jones.
