Denise Richards has put her bitter divorce from ex Charlie Sheen behind her - insisting she is "so happy" for the new father of twin boys.

The former couple went through a custody battle for their two daughters, five year old Sam and Lola, three, and embarked on a vicious war of words following their split in 2005.

Sheen went on to marry Brooke Mueller, who gave birth to twins Bob and Max on Saturday. And the former Bond Girl is pleased her ex has moved on - insisting the couple's kids can't wait to meet their baby brothers.

She says, "I'm so happy for them. The girls are really excited that they're big sisters now. They've already made them a couple pictures and they can't wait to see them."
