Former wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has wrecked his tough guy image after confessing he is scared of roller coasters.
The muscly Scorpion King star admits he hates feeling trapped, and strapping into a nerve-wracking thrill ride leaves him on the verge of hyperventilating.
He says, "It's not a fear of roller coasters, it's a fear of getting strapped in, especially the bars.
"I attempted to (go on a roller coaster once), but the moment the bars clamp down and I feel it on my chest, that's the moment I can't breathe."
And Johnson was forced to talk his way out of a group ride during a recent trip to Disneyland in California with his Race to Witch Mountain cast and crew.
He recalls, "It's funny 'cause we all took a big trip to Disney before we shot the film; everyone was there, the director, the kids. We were walking around the rides and we had a tour guide with us, and I pulled the guide to one side and was like, 'What kind of ride is this?' and he was like, 'Oh its great, it's gonna go up and down and around', and I was like, 'Oh ok, I think I'll stay here.'
"The thing is everyone's waiting in line and they're like, 'Hey Dwayne, why aren't you getting on the ride?' and there were hundreds of people there. And I was like on my BlackBerry, (saying), 'I can't, very important Hollywood stuff here'."
