Michael JacksonBosses at concert promoters AEG Live are threatening legal action against a ticket agency for allegedly selling prized seats at Michael Jackson's comeback shows to another company.

AEG tied up a deal with Viagogo to market premium price packages for the highly anticipated shows at London's O2 Arena.

But a spokesman for the promoters has accused Viagogo of breaking an agreement not to sell tickets to touts or other brokers - and threatened an injunction to protect the deal.

Randy Phillips, chief executive of AEG Live, says: "My lawyers are going into court to seek an injunction. They (Viagogo staff) sent out an email to touts and brokers offering tickets for sale. We are going to come down very hard on them."

Jackson is to play 50 dates at the O2 stretching into next year - a residency which will generate $100 million in ticket sales alone.

And Phillips is delighted the shows sold out within hours, as it will help the venue ride out the current global financial crisis.

He adds, "He (Jackson) is fantastic. He is physically and mentally ready to get back in the game."
