Gossip Girl star Matthew Settle has become the proud father of a baby girl.

The actor's wife, Israeli actress and model Naama Nativ, gave birth to Aven Angelica on Thursday. The tot weighed in at eight pounds, 11 ounces.

Settle's representative, Christina Papadopoulos, tells People.com, "Baby and mother are happy and healthy and the new parents are thrilled." Settle, 39, married the 25-year-old in 2006.
