Actor Rick Schroder is caught up in a legal battle with a California woman who is accusing him of stealing $7,000 -worth of workman's tools.

The former NYPD Blue star, full name Richard Schroder, and his plumber pal Brent Black are being sued by Black's ex-girlfriend Alicia Roberts. Roberts claims Black, who moved out of her Malibu, California home in December, entered her residence with Schroder "without permission or knowledge" and took the tools.

The duo has fired back at the allegations, and is countersuing. Black alleges Roberts is a "crazy, bitter b**ch" and is still in possession of his tools. He further claims Roberts is suing out of revenge and has dragged Schroder into their dispute, reports TMZ.com.

Schroder is seeking $5,000 in compensation, alleging he hasn't even met Roberts and has lost work as a result of the lawsuit. In his counter claim, he states, "I made at least $5,000 for directing work and had to cancel (sic) work."

Schroder goes on to accuse Roberts of committing perjury, harassing him and trespassing on his property.
