Mel Gibson's Publicist Denies Working For Brown
Brown faces possible jail time after he was charged by Los Angeles police for making criminal threats following a heated argument with ex-girlfriend Rihanna in the early hours of February 8th. The incident is said to have left the Umbrella star in need of hospital treatment and she has since returned to her native Barbados to recuperate. With many insiders stating the singer's career is doomed because of the huge media interest in the shocking story, Brown was reported to have hired Alan Nierob to help him limit the damage.
Nierob is renowned for helping save Lethal Weapon star Gibson's movie career after his infamous anti-Semitic outburst in 2006, when he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
However, the PR guru has contacted celebrity site Access Hollywood to refute rumors that he is taking Brown on as a client. Instead, Brown is working with publicist firm Sitrick and Company - who released a statement on Brown's behalf earlier this week in which he stated he was "saddened" by the incident.
