LudacrisRapper Ludacris has personally apologized to failed U.S. presidential candidate John McCain after blasting the Republican in a controversial track last year.

The Area Codes star slammed McCain in a song entitled Politics (Obama Is Here), which championed Democrat Barack Obama's bid for the White House.

But Ludacris was publicly chastised by Obama for including the lyrics: "McCain don't belong in no chair unless he's paralyzed."

Now E! Online reports the hip-hop star has made peace with McCain and his wife Cindy after meeting the couple during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, where he expressed his sorrow and regret at his actions.
