Oscar winner Mira Sorvino is expecting her third child with actor husband Christopher Backus. The star and her husband are already parents to four-year-old Mattea Angel and Johnny Christopher King, two.

Sorvino tells Usmagazine.com, "We are overjoyed at the thought of welcoming a new addition to the family. With each child the love in our hearts has expanded beyond what we ever imagined was possible."

The couple wed in June, 2004.
