Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has slammed reports her newborn son Bronx Mowgli is nursing a broken arm - insisting the baby is "fine."

The singer/actress, who welcomed the tot with her husband Pete Wentz in November, canceled an appearance at an Eleven Spa Vegas party in Nevada on Wednesday, prompting rumors her child was unwell. But the claims have been blasted by Simpson-Wentz's representative, who blames her no-show on scheduling issues, reports E! Online.

The spokesperson says, "It's not true. Everything is fine."
