Ne-Yo Faces Lawsuit Over Canceled Show

R&B singer Ne-Yo is facing a lawsuit from bosses at an entertainment company, who accuse him of reneging on a $95,000 deal to perform at a New Year's Eve event.

According to the lawsuit filed last week in Maryland, bosses at Wet Entertainment booked the star to headline a party at a nightspot in Bellevue, Washington. Organizers claim they paid the fee up front and made arrangements for the show, including promotion, travel and hotel accommodations but the star never arrived, reports TMZ.com.

The company is reportedly suing Ne-Yo and the booking agents who made the deal for $1 million in damages in addition to the $95,000 fee.
