Lady Gaga always wears short skirts when she's appearing on TV in America - so her grandmother can make her out.

The singer's grandma is almost blind and can't see dark colors, so Gaga always dresses to impress her.

She says, "She can make out the lighter parts, like my skin and hair. She says, 'I can see you because you have no pants on.' So I'll continue to wear no pants... so that my grandma can see me."
