Former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress Josie Davis struggled with sex scenes in her new movie The Trouble With Romance - because she had to make love to another woman.

Davis bore all for harrowing scenes in Nicolas Cage's directorial debut Sonny, but a lesbian encounter with co-star Portia Dawson in her new film almost proved too much for her.

She tells WENN, "The kissing of the girl was very odd for me. It was the first time I ever kissed a girl and I was kind of nervous about it and it was awkward. It was really hot on the set, temperature wise; I think it was 103 degrees or something, and I had this girl on top of me with this long hair and it was in my face and we're sticky and sweaty and she was dripping on me. It was just ridiculous."

"I'm not into girls and the scene was not easy for me. It was definitely a challenge. I hear other girls who say, 'Oh, I just do it.' I think they were out drinking or something."
