The actor became the third "Lost" cast member to face a DUI charge in Hawaii, where the desert island drama is filmed, after he was pulled over by cops for speeding and found guilty of driving while over the limit.

Kim was subsequently fined, sentenced to community service and suspended from driving for six months - and he decided to immediately slow down.

He tells TV Guide magazine, "Anyone who knows me knows I'm a boy scout."

And he admits he feared he'd be fired from the show for his decision to drink and drive: "They (producers) said, 'It's all going to be OK...' It made me all the more grateful to have a job and be in a place where people can make mistakes and change their lives."
