The blonde beauty shot to fame as one of Hefner's three girlfriends in E! network series The Girls Next Door.

She split from the 82-year-old last year, shortly before announcing her engagement to football star Hank Baskett - who she is due to marry in June.

But 23-year-old Wilkinson won't disappear from the airwaves after packing her bags and moving out of Hefner's Holmby Hills, California home - E! bosses have signed her up for an eight episode series, documenting her new life.

Network spokesperson Lisa Berger says, "Throughout the five highly successful seasons of the 'Girls Next Door,' Kendra has developed a loyal fan-base with her outrageous personality and trademark laugh. Now she's faced with the reality of making it outside the gates of the Mansion and as Kendra's fans are aware, you never know what she's going to do next."

Hefner's exes Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt will also reportedly make cameos in the series.
