Ellen DeGeneres: 'I Don't Need To Be On Camera'

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres is ready to settle for the quiet life with partner Portia De Rossi - the pair is looking to buy a farm.

DeGeneres is under contract to her talk show through 2010 and insists she does not want out of the program. However since marrying De Rossi in August, the 51-year-old admits she's considered stepping away from the bright lights.

DeGeneres tells Ladies Home Journal, "I don't need to be on camera. I'm not a workaholic. I love to spend time with my wife, my family, my animals... (We're) looking for the right place to have a farm. Someplace like Massachusetts or Nantucket, with seasons."
