It pays to be a friend of Aussie actress Isla Fisher - because she's always buying clothes she'll never wear.

The actress admits she's a terrible shopper and can easily be persuaded to buy items she knows she doesn't look good in by pushy shop assistants.

She says, "Several times I've been suckered into a fashion that wasn't very flattering on a small frame. I'm terrible with peer pressure, so once several shop assistants convince me I look good - even though I can tell I don't - I will in fact make the purchase and live to regret it."

However her pals benefit from her bad buys: "I try to remove items from my closet that don't work anymore and give them to friends."
